HIGH PURITY POROUS CORDIERITE CERAMIC
Made from the high
purity mineral Mg2Al4Si5O18 which
is also 2MgO·2Al2O3·5SiO2, a magnesium
alumino-silicate.
This material is an extremely
lightweight material with low thermal expansion and excellent strength,
rigidity and thermal shock resistance; and has very good corrosion resistance
to chemicals at high temperature, and high use temperature. It may be used for
a variety of electrical, mechanical, and thermal applications
